Manufacturer’s Certification: Why This is Important!

If a car manufacturer certifies an auto body shop, they are stating that the shop provides a quality of service on par with their car building process. What this means is that by taking your car to a Manufacturer-Certified Collision Repair Centre, your action is the equivalent of taking your car into the manufacturer dealership where you bought it. If this is the case, does it not make sense then, that a shop that works with the manufacturer, and maintains a certification process, would be a better choice over one that does not have that certification?

There is an enormous difference in the technology and construction of cars between different makes and models. A certified collision shop must hire and train experienced technicians to meet the requirements of the manufacturers. These shops know how your car was built and know how to fix it.

Imagine the constant upgrading and improvement of the auto body shop’s processes and procedures; not to mention the equipment that must go along with the manufacturer’s requirements. Does it make the choice of where to take your car to be repaired that much easier?

At Mitek, we are certified to work on most high-end brand vehicles like BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover, Audi, also on Volkswagen, Honda Acura, Nissan Infiniti, Kia, and Fiat Chrysler. We also specialize in Porsche collision repair, and we have completed 90% of our certification with them, soon to be 100%. We know how to repair your car according to your manufacturer’s specifications.

There are many ways to choose the right collision repair shop. However, if you own a high-end vehicle, one of the most important criteria is that the auto body shop has the certification of your manufacturer. They have put the time and money into delivering a manufacturer’s certified repair for your car that will maintain the car’s warranty and be certified as safe after the repair.
